Sy's career includes roles as a Market Development Specialist in the Visayas and Mindanao, a Freelance HR Consultant, an HR Generalist (OIC LEAD), a Talent Acquisition Specialist, and a Trainer and Team Leader. She has demonstrated success in shared services, business process outsourcing, recruitment, and HR consultancy.

In addition, Sy specializes in market development, client network building, professional partnership cultivation, talent management, employee engagement, recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training and development. Sy excels in recognizing market trends, designing creative sourcing initiatives, and developing business opportunities aligned with growth strategies.

Prior to joining ASI, Sy held roles as a Freelance HR Consultant, HR Generalist (OIC LEAD), Talent Acquisition Specialist, and Trainer and Team Leader. Sy was involved in various aspects of HR and operations, including recruitment, employee engagement, talent management, and training and development. She graduated from the University of San Agustin with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.

Sy's first job, which holds a special place in her heart, was during humanitarian and community work with the Philippine Red Cross in the aftermath of Typhoon Yolanda in the Visayas region. During this period, Sy traveled to remote areas without access to water and electricity to help rehabilitate the community.
